During the second week of the PPI trial (B), the fraction of positive PPI tests is significantly higher in the GERD-related NCCP group (81%) than in non-GERD-related NCCP group (27%) (p=0.001). However, during the first week of the PPI trial (A), there is no significant difference between the two groups (GERD vs non-GERD=50% vs 23%, p=0.1).
