(C) Based on the IHC images, quantification of Ostα expression was performed by Image-Pro Plus v 6.0. (D) Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) showed no significant difference in Ostα mRNA expression in the LBDs and SBDs. (E) After PCR analysis, electrophoresis was used to determine the length of the amplified PCR products. (F) Western blotting results also showed no significant difference in the Ostα protein expression level in the LBDs and SBDs. (G) Quantification of the Ostα protein band was evaluated and normalized relative to the expression level of β-actin.
