(B) Schematic of large and small rat bile duct isolation; under the surgical microscope, the bile duct tissue was divided into two parts at the ends of third-grade bile duct branches (dotted line): the portion proximal to the porta hepatis mainly contained large bile ducts, and the surrounding portion mainly contained small bile ducts.
